The short answer
Who can extend their stay with Form I-539?
Form I-539 extends your stay in the nonimmigrant status you hold now. Immiva prepares it for B-1 and B-2 visitors and for H-4, L-2, E-1S, E-2S, E-3S, O-3, P-4, R-2 and TD dependents who file alone. You must file before the "Admit Until" date on your I-94 ends, you must not have violated your status, and your passport must stay valid for the stay you request. Dependents extend in line with the worker or investor they depend on.

USCIS generally needs Form I-539 filed before your authorized stay ends. A late request can be accepted only for extraordinary circumstances. If your date has passed, talk to an immigration attorney before you file.
Not through Immiva. Immiva prepares Form I-539 for one applicant and does not prepare Form I-539A. Each family member would need a separate application.
No. F-1 students extend through their school. M-1 students file Form I-539 with a new Form I-20, which Immiva does not prepare. J-1 and J-2 exchange visitors extend through their sponsor, and Visa Waiver visitors cannot file Form I-539.
No. The check uses the facts you provide and cannot decide the application for USCIS. Immiva is software, not a law firm.
